Mission & Outreach

Our Mission Team leads the congregation in serving our local, national, and global communities. Below are some of our most recent endeavors.

We collected school supplies to support Hartville Migrant Ministry's backpacks for immigrant students. 

Every third Sunday, we collect food for the Lake FISH Pantry and Green Good Neighbors.

Last year, our Chili Cookoff Fundraiser supported the Lake School District CARE Team. 

Our children's ministry packed Disaster Relief Buckets to send to the UCC Heartland Conference Disaster Relief Team.

We sponsor a student in East Jerusalem through UCC Global Ministries.

Every 5th Sunday we designate a special offering for Ukraine through Church Imanuel in Uniontown.

At Christmas, we created homemade Christmas cards for those who are deployed in military service.

This year we have supported King CLC of Akron Public Schools, with hats, gloves, and scarves through our Warming Tree at Christmas. We also collected Backpack Snacks to support their food pantry. 

We support the United Church of Christ Special Offerings: The Christmas Fund, Strengthen the Church, One Great Hour of Sharing, and Neighbors in Need
